Riley Tutoring was founded to bring together exceptional tutors and a fast, reliable service, so students get the right support without the wait.
Lauren Riley, founder of Riley Tutoring, studied at The Herts and Essex High School in Bishop’s Stortford before earning a First-Class Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton.
While at university, she began tutoring and saw how much students benefit from being taught by someone who has recently been through the same GCSE or A level journey, an experience that inspired her to launch Riley Tutoring after graduating.
WHY US
We take the time to understand each student’s goals, confidence levels, and areas for support, either over email or via a call. From there, we carefully match each student with a tutor who fits their needs, availability and personality.
We also offer a free 15-minute introductory meeting so students and families can meet the tutor and ensure the match feels right before committing to sessions.
OUR TUTORS
All of our tutors are high-achieving university students or recent graduates who have excelled in the exams they support others with. They are not only knowledgeable in their subjects but also relatable, understanding firsthand the challenges students face.
Tutors stay fully up to date with the current curriculum and exam requirements, ensuring that the guidance they provide is relevant, accurate, and effective.
We personally interview every tutor to assess their subject expertise, communication skills, and teaching approach. We also provide training to ensure that every tutor provides a high-quality, supportive, and trustworthy learning experience.
